The Destruction of Elmo

All I have to say is that Lillian carrried this Elmo around of weeks before the birthday party. I seriously thought we were going to have to buy a new Elmo. When the day came it was a sad day, but have no fear Lilly didn't have to think twice about hitting poor Elmo. However she was very sad that Elmo was "broke". We still have half of Elmo to this day in our living room. Poor Elmo. All Lillian wanted was the candy or Diddie in her case.

Lillian Turns Two

Lillian this year had an elmo birthday party. We invited friends and family over to celerbrate in Lillian's big day. Lillian really got into opening presents this year. It was really fun to watch her on her birthday this year, because she knew it was her day.

Lillian the Chef

Lillian received a new kitchen set for her birthday. As you can tell she is loving it. She loves to cook by herself and with her sisters. We get many food items cooked for us daily. No matter what the combinations are.

The Day After the Fourth

Danni buried Sam

John and Anna got up extremely early to run their Half Marathon. They did a fantastic job. They set new PR goals. They finished in 1:49:45 which is Awesome. WAY TO GO GUYS. The race started at 6:00a.m. so the girls and I decided it would be best if we slept in. After John came back home he rested a bit and then we headed over to a friend of Anna's to have a post Fourth of July party. Anna's friend lives on a lake and the lake had a great beach area where the kids could swim and dig in the sand. Lillian loved the water. I think everyone loved the water. After it go dark the people who lived on the lake put on an awesome fireworks display. Again it was just an awesome day.

America The Beautiful

Our Fourth of July went off without a hitch. We first started off the day with a four mile run for me. I did really good and I stayed consistent with my pace. Overall I was very happy about my run. Then we had to go and pick up numbers for John and Anna because they were running in a Half Marathon the next Day. They ran in the Joker's Wild. Then we had to come home and get ready for our firework fun. We BBQ and had alot of fireworks that Aunt Anna brought over. The highlight for Lillian was her popsicles. I think she had like 8 of them. Anyway it was a great evening and we were excited that it didn't rain.
