Lillian's Favorite part of Christmas CANDY!!!!!

Sam Loves her DS

Danni reads her note from Santa

On Christmas morning the girls had a wonderful time. Samantha and Danielle were up around 5 a.m., but didn't wake up mom and dad until around 6 a.m. They came rishing in yelling SANTA CAME!!!!! They were very excited. Needless to say Lillian was not ready to start the day. She was still snoozing. This year Santa played a trick on Samantha and Danielle. The two gifts they wanted the most were hidden throughout the house. Santa had left the girls notes on where they could find those gifts. Sam was on the hunt for a Nintendo DS and Danni was on the hunt for a pair of Heelys. Santa hid the Heelys in the front seat of moms car and the Nintendo DS was hidden in the cabinet mom keeps her pots and pans. The Girls enjoyed themselves. Lillian enjoyed unwrapping her gifts. Lillian and the sisters were very tired by the end of the day. Hope all is well with everyone else.

Good night

Christmas Eve 2007

On December 24, 2007 we spent the day with family. We went to John's family aroung noon. John's mom had a nice lunch for us to enjoy and then we opened presents. which all the kids enjoyed. It was great spending time with John's parents, becasue we don't get to spend much time with them since they live a ways away. After the time spent with John's parents we went o my grandmothers house and spent the rest of the evening with my family. We spend every Christmas Eve at my grandmother's house. She always has a great dinner and then we open gifts. This year the gift opening wasn't so hectic. Aunt Denise kept it under control. All in all in was an awesome day. Here are a few pictures from the day.

First Snow of the Winter 2007

On December 15, 2007 we got our first snow of the winter season. The total count of snow fall was 5 inches. As you can see the kids enjoyed it. John even got out there with the girls and did a little sleigh riding. Lillian enjoyed the snow if you were holding her or taking her down the hill on a sleigh. She did not like the part where she had to stand in the snow. She really hated the part where you had to get all dressed up to go out in the snow.

The Baking of Christmas Cookies

Saturday December 22, 2007

Sunday December 23, 2007

We had an awesome time baking cookies. Samantha and Danielle had a good time making cookies with their dad. It was a great experience for the Samantha a Danielle, because they got to practice on measuring ingredients. They were pretty good at it. It took us about 8 hrs the first day to get all of our cookies baked.Madison helped us the first couple of hours on Saturday. Then her mom came and got her, because they had to get home and do their baking Then the next day we had to still do our sugar cookie cut outs. which took us another 3 hours. Lillian on the other hand was just in it to make a mess. Lillian had a wonderful time in the flour. She looked like a ghost in some of the pictures. Well Enjoy looking at the pictures of all our wonderful cookies we made.
