A Night At the Movies

The movie projected on the side of the building

Enjoying the movie

Lilian eating something again

The big girls enjoying the movie

Last night was movie night at Lillian's school. The movie of the night was Curious George. The older girls loved going and watching the movie, but Lillian was too interested in walking around and eating and drinking. We got to have popcorn, candy, and drinks with our movie. Also it was pretty cool they projected the movie on the side of the building so it was like we were at the drive in. All in all is was a great night.

P.S. It wasn't that hot either.

A Runner's World

On Thursday 6-26-2008 our children took their first stab at the running world. They all ran for 10 minutes which we were extremely proud. No one whined or cried. Anna did an awesome job with them. She taught them how to stretch properly and how to run at a pace that was comfortable for them. I think this is something that they are going to like. As you can see in the pictures they all had their new running shoes on. They all looked so cute. Thanks Anna for being a great coach.

Race for the Cure "Susan G. Komen 5k"

Well We went to the race for the cure on Saturday. The race for the cure had over 70 thousand people there. They raised over $3.3 million dollars. All in all in was a great experience. It was also my very first race as a runner. The atmosphere of running the race verses being a cheerleader was awhole lot different. I loved being a part of the race as a running. I loved the fact that i got to run with my husband and he was there to cheer me on during the whole thing. John pushed Lillian throughout the race. It was a wonderful feeling throughout the whole day. I ran the 3 miles in 34:37 minutes. That is great for me. All the pictures are from after the race. Enjoy!
Have a great night

I would like to take this time to tell my husband and the father to my children that we are very grateful to have in our lives. He loves and enjoys us everyday. He is truly an amazing man. All you girls (Samantha, Danielle, Lillian, and Jennifer) want to tell you that we love you every minute of the day and we don't know what we would do without you in our lives. Thank You for loving us as an awesome father and husband. Below are the girfts that John received on Father's Day. Lillian made him a baseball with her handprint on it. The babseball read "You are one great catch dad" (you can see her little handprint on the ball) Danielle made a dad a wonderful card. and Samantha made him a wonderful card and then the bigger girls made a powerpoint presentation of their dad together. Enjoy the pictures. oh and by the way John got to do exactly what he wanted today, because it was his day. We love you John!

IT'S DEFINITELY SUMMERTIME!!!!!

John and I bought this huge watermelon at the produce stand today. So after we had our very summer dinner (brats, corn on the cob, and cucumber and tomato salad) we brought the watermelon outside and shared with all the neighbors. All the kids enjoy the watermelon. It is definitely summertime when you break out the watermelon and share it with the neighbors out in the driveway. Please enjoy the pictures. You can tell by the pictures that Lillian really enjoyed herself with the watermelon.
Have a great night
